Pyrozone

The detection tubing is basically a linear heat detector. A fire will cause a rupture at the hottest spot, somewhere along the tube, to relieve the pressure inside. This pressure loss activates the cylinder valve, releasing the agent stored inside the cylinder. The tubing is installed throughout the protected enclosure with one end connected to the cylinder valve and the other, usually, to an end-of-line adapter.
