Pyrozone Discharge Valves comprise a ¼ turn full bore 316 Stainless Steel Ball Valve flanged to ANSI Class 300 which is opened and closed by a pneumatic scotch yoke actuator. The actuator is controlled by a 24vdc 3/2 Solenoid Valve which receives a signal from the Fire Indicator Panel. The Opening signal from the FIP is recommended to remain for the full duration of the discharge and needs to be removed prior to supplying a separate Closing signal. The pneumatic gas pressure is supplied from the Pyrozone storage unit via an integral CO2 gas regulator. Discharge Valves can also be manually operated using a Pyrozone Emergency Manual Release Station (EMRS) and Locked Out by using a Pyrozone Manual Lock Off Station (MLOS) Discharge Valves are available in sizes DN25, DN50, DN80, DN100 and DN150 and supplied with 2 sets of gaskets, bolts and nuts.
